To Prime Minister Theresa May, Philip Hammond - Chancellor of the Exchequer and Matt Hancock, Secretary of State for Health
Why is this important?
Hospital bosses have warned that the NHS could become unsafe for patients this winter if the government doesn't give it the money it needs. Like last year, this could lead to a dangerous situation of overcrowded A&Es and patients waiting for hours in corridors to be seen by doctors.
NHS hospitals have two weeks left to decide how much money to spend on life-saving treatment this winter. Without more money to prevent the crisis, we’ll all be at risk. So we don’t have long to persuade the government to give hospitals, GP surgeries and carers the money they need.
A huge petition will show the government they need to fund the NHS properly and make sure that patients across the country receive safe care this winter.
Will you chip in?
Thanks for signing the petition for more NHS funding! Now will you chip in so we can move fast to win the campaigns that matter to all of us, like the campaign to stop the winter crisis in our NHS?
