Rumours are swirling that Chancellor Rishi Sunak will announce a pay freeze for public sector workers.
Earlier this year, the government joined the rest of us in clapping for all key workers. But now it seems they’re done thanking them.
The government wants this pay freeze announcement to be brushed under the carpet. But we won’t let that happen. A huge petition, signed by thousands of us, will send a clear message to the Chancellor: a pay freeze is no way to thank public sector heroes for the sacrifices they’ve made during the pandemic.
