Fix our tax system so that big tech businesses pay their fair share
Why is this important?
Right now small businesses are struggling to survive, while digital giants like Amazon pay too little in taxes. Amazon made £14bn in sales last year but paid just 2% of that in taxes. At a time when we’re all meant to be pulling together, it’s important that big businesses pay their fair share. That’s why we’re calling on Chancellor Rishi Sunak to fix our tax system so that big firms like Amazon pay more, rather than struggling small businesses.
