An open letter to the NHS Pay Review Body

We believe that the government’s 1% pay rise is an insult to NHS workers and simply isn’t enough for all the sacrifices they’ve made fighting against Covid-19 on the frontline over the last year.

We're concerned that the government's lowball 1% offer could shift the goal posts of what is acceptable, and might lead to you recommending a smaller figure in turn. So we wanted to let you know that the British public overwhelmingly believes that NHS staff deserve a real pay rise. One that reflects the blood, sweat and tears NHS staff have put into keeping us all safe. And we're backing you to recommend a pay rise that reflects that.

Please do right by them, as they have done by us.
