Why is this important?

The coronavirus testing system is in chaos. It’s putting hospitals and schools under even more pressure as doctors, nurses and teachers are having to stay at home because they can’t access a test when they need one.

There are many reasons why the system's not working properly. But one thing is clear: the government needs to urgently step in and fix it so that everyone who needs a coronavirus test, can get one.
