To Home Secretary Amber Rudd and UK Government

Petition text

Please protect our privacy. Make the proposed amendments to the Investigatory Powers Act and comply with European Court of Justice ruling.

Why is this important?

The government has made a law that forces companies to spy on us. It means information is stored about our telephone calls and text messages - whether we like it or not. But courts have ruled that the law is actually illegal.

The government have opened a consultation about the changes the court have told them to make. If thousands of us sign the petition now - telling them to listen to the court and change the Snoopers’ Charter - the public outcry could force them to listen. Will you add your name?

Will you chip in?

Thank you for signing the petition to fix the Snoopers' Charter. Now will you chip in to make sure we can keep moving fast to win the campaigns that matter? You can make a secure donation here:
