Petition text

As the government aligns with decisions made by the European Chemicals Agency, do not allow UK cosmetics to be tested on animals for any reason.

Why is this important?

Animal testing for cosmetics has been banned in the UK for 23 years - but now the government have left open the possibility of allowing it in some cases, by aligning themselves with the European Chemical Agency. This decision could potentially lead to a much wider use of animal testing within the UK cosmetics industry and beyond.

According to the RSPCA, animal testing causes considerable suffering. We believe there should be no place for it in the future of the UK cosmetics industry.

Sign the petition today if you agree that the government should continue to commit to banning animal testing for cosmetics. Together we can make sure they know where the public stands!
