Petition text
Why is this important?
The government claims they’ve protected renters from being made homeless during the pandemic, but they’ve snuck in a loophole that means the people who need that protection most simply won’t have it.
The government originally brought in emergency measures to ban evictions because it was so clear that making people homeless during a global pandemic was bad for renters - and bad for public health.
Sign the petition to demand this loophole is closed and renters get the protection they need.
