Stand up for the Amazon: join the Brazilian deforestation boycott.

The Brazilian government is going after the Amazon Rainforest - again. They want to pass a law allowing private companies to use massive swathes of land to grow agricultural products like soy. It’s an environmental disaster waiting to happen.

UK supermarkets like Tesco and Sainsbury’s have already threatened to boycott Brazilian agricultural produce if the plans go ahead. But to stop these proposals for good, we need other companies to speak out too - including fast food giants like KFC and Nandos.

The Brazilian government wants to destroy the Amazon to make room for the production of soy for animal feed - especially feed for poultry - which is then sold overseas. That’s why companies like KFC have a role to play. If they join the boycott, and refuse to buy products that contribute to the destruction of the Amazon, it will send a powerful message.
