To Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rishi Sunak
Petition text
Why is this important?
The government’s just announced a pay rise for some public sector workers - but nurses, porters and thousands of other NHS workers on low wages have been left out of this deal. It’s a slap in the face to those who’ve sacrificed so much.
Top government ministers are coming under fire for leaving so many NHS workers out of the deal. Their defence? Nurses “already have a good deal” from two years ago.
Since then, a global pandemic has forced our nurses, healthcare assistants and other NHS workers to put their lives on the line to care for us and battle Coronavirus. It's just not good enough. Sign the petition now and tell the government to give ALL NHS workers the new pay rise they deserve .
