To Theresa May, David Davis and all MPs

Petition text

Please ensure that British people won’t lose any human rights protections when we leave the EU.

Why is this important?

The government’s planning to remove the safety net that protects our human rights. We could be about to lose the laws that guarantee our right to privacy, stop unfair dismissal and give us the right to live in dignity when we’re old.

Lots of MPs and Lords are already up in arms about the plans. But what’s missing is the voice of the public - us - telling Theresa May that these plans can’t go ahead. A huge petition could stop the plans.

Please can you sign the petition asking the government to amend the EU Withdrawal Bill to bring the Charter of Fundamental Rights into British law, starting from the day we Brexit.
